In a gathering of capital market stakeholders and FinTech experts, last Friday, InfoWARE Limited launched Grow my Kudi – a revolutionary platform that is going to help Nigerians and Africans as a whole gain the skills they need to successfully tackle economic and capital market challenges such as lack of financial inclusion, lack of innovation, capital market participation and the institutional knowledge gap.
Grow My Kudi would provide the environment and tools to encourage a no risk approach to learning and investing with access to real time market data from InfoWARE. This will also serve as a platform to FinTechs to innovate and build their own independent platforms and hopefully serve as a spring board for innovation between FinTechs and the investing public.
At the Launch Mr. Uwa Agbonile, CEO InfoWARE Limited, gave the welcome address saying “We are very excited about the launch of this product, and we believe that with your help, leadership and ownership, Grow My Kudi’s integrated sophisticated tools can provide an avenue to encourage a no risk approach to learning and investing using real time market data from InfoWARE and the NSE. Following InfoWARE’s recent collaboration with Pan-Atlantic University to better integrate industry-leading data, research, news and analytics into their teaching curriculum and faculty research, InfoWARE market data terminal and Grow My Kudi would empower investors, instructors, students, etc. to bring conventional lecture to a totally different level and make the connection between theory and practice crystal clear for students.
At the event, esteemed faculty members from the university were present to grace the event and engaged the panelists with their questions during the Q&A Session. Also present at the event were representative from Alpha Morgan capital and Vetiva Securities, the team at InfoWARE were present along-side millennials who registered for the event.
Benedicta Omoruyi, Team lead Corporate Innovation and Strategy at InfoWARE, did a live demo of the invocative product and concluded by emphasizing that Grow My Kudi is a new and innovative simulation and gaming platform that will educate users on how to build an investment-based portfolio, get investment education, access a community of traders.
It can also assist professionals in simulating trades by virtually executing market orders before going to the market with real cash.
